Two teams 858B and 858A led by the teacher Guan Qinxue and Wang Wei , from the Experimental school of Shuangliu Middle School had been
awarded VEX EDR Robotics Competition(Middle School Group) “Gold Award” and “Silver Award” in the 12th Tencent Youth Cup Asia-Pacific
Robotics Championship in Macao on Dec. 3, 2018.
The 12th Tencent Cup Youth VEX Robot Asia Championship was successfully concluded at the Macao Convention and Exhibition Center on Dec.3, 2018.
In this four-day international robot competition, in addition to the players from the mainland of China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, there were 450 Teams
from the United States, Singapore, South Korea, Malaysia, Kazakhstan and other countries and regions; more than 2,000 contestants gathered in the stadium.
The unique charm of the "VEX Robot Asia Championship" for the contestants is that each competition requires the players to fully utilize their imagination and
allow their participating robots to perform the specified tasks within a limited time. It not only tests the designer's optimal route、the wisdom of strategy and
tactics, but also cultivate the cooperative ability of the team and stimulate the scientific interest of young people.
